Spinning® Instructor Orientation (W/S)
Become one of the world’s most sought-after fitness instructors – a certified Spinning® Instructor. This nine-hour orientation is your first step. Topics include bike setup, the five core movements, three hand positions, choosing music, creating a 40-minute Spinning journey, safety considerations, teaching techniques, Spinning philosophy, heart rate training, and a three-phase instructor training program. After completing this orientation, you’ will be qualified to teach the Spinning program at any official Spinning centre throughout the world. Certification will be awarded after completing the self-paced instructor training program and successfully passing the assessment. Spinning® Benchmarking Progression (W/S)
Help your clients and members identify goals and establish performance benchmarks to chart their own improvement. We’ll discuss goal-setting exercises and field-testing protocols with appropriate modifications for the Spinning® classroom, and the session will conclude with a field test for participants to establish or confirm their own heart rate zones. Cycling programs that focus on improved flexibility and increased range of motion lead to fewer overuse injuries, well-exercised muscles, and happier joints (and participants). Combining a variable intensity spin workout with stretching, band work, trigger point release, and active movements, this workshop will provide you with the tools necessary to decrease hip tightness, mobilize shoulders, and generally improve function, recovery, and performance.
