RIDE FOR A CANCER CURE AT THE AWARD-WINNING 11TH ANNUAL TOUR DE PIER
Southern California’s most unique fitness fundraiser benefits three nonprofit cancer organizations and will feature a Health & Fitness Expo, live entertainment as well as celebrities including Jacob Bertrand, Peyton Elizabeth Lee, Alexi Lalas, Matt Leinart, and football players from the Los Angeles Chargers
WHAT: The 11th Annual Tour de Pier brings one of the hottest indoor fitness activities – stationary cycling – outdoors overlooking the breathtaking Pacific Ocean. Held at the iconic Manhattan Beach Pier & Strand, the award-winning charity event for Outstanding Special Event continues to serve the community by raising money and awareness to advance cancer research and provide support services for patients and families. The fundraiser will benefit three nonprofit cancer organizations dedicated to helping save lives: Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research; Cancer Support Community South Bay and the Uncle Kory Foundation for Brain Cancer Research. To date, the Tour de Pier has raised more than $11.5 million for cancer charities.
The 11th Annual Tour de Pier is excited to welcome back to center stage its celebrity friends, the area’s best instructors, live entertainment, Los Angeles’ top vendors and its free Health and Fitness Expo including the Cardio Kids Zone.

In March 2014, the City of Manhattan Beach Parks & Recreation Department won a prestigious award for Outstanding Special Event for the Tour De Pier, presented by the State of California Association of Parks and Recreation Commissioners.
