MCYCLE
Mcycle is an immersive experience unlike any other. Currently voted the Nation’s Best Indoor Cycling Studio through ClassPass. This is, and will always be “Where Cardio Meets Culture”.
Mcycle is a 45-minute indoor cycling class that features high-intensity, rhythm-based cardio, and muscle-sculpting strength training. In addition to being a killer workout – it’s a powerful mind-body experience. The Music. Music is our mantra. Playlists are handcrafted from hip hop, electronic, and rock to R&B. No matter what your taste, you’ll find a niche with us!
Mcycle is the ultimate, full-body indoor cycling workout. Riders move to the beat of the music in a high energy, inspirational environment with state of the art lighting and sound – led by the best fitness talents guiding the class. With the goal of combining cardio and culture, riders sweat out life’s challenges in unison, empowered as a community
Everyone we’ve met has been incredibly friendly and welcoming- whether it be the instructors, front desk staff, or other members! When they say they’re a studio “where cardio meets culture”, it’s not just an empty marketing statement. There are no snobby vibes here and you’ll see people of all different fitness levels in class.
Despite being in downtown where parking is usually a headache, they have a full parking lot behind their studio. No parallel parking skills or hourly payments needed!
The studio itself is gorgeous with plenty of lockers (all free to use), three showers, and four or so vanities to use post-workout. They’ve also got a mini smoothie bar out in the lobby!
Classes are an absolute blast and it’s amazing how quickly the 45 minutes fly by. The bike seats are comfortable and there is tiered seating so everyone can easily see the instructor. They have coordinated music and lights for every class (they provide earplugs if you are sensitive to loud music!) which makes it such a fun workout. Personally, I prefer the loud music because 1) it pumps me up 2) it drowns out my heavy breathing haha.
Other things to know: Make sure you arrive early- they recommend 15 minutes before the actual class time. Cycling shoes are provided for free if it’s your first time, otherwise they cost $2 to rent. I’d recommend sizing up if you have wider or flat feet as they are structured a bit narrow! If you haven’t been cycling before, make sure you have someone help you with setting up your bike- clicking in and out of your pedals can also take some getting used to. Finally, don’t forget your water bottle- ideally one that you can use one-handed!
