In 2022 the city of North Vancouver had one studio shut down, which was the notorious Ride Cycle Club and the new Salted Cycle Studio open. Sadly. This is just a small hole in the wall studio, with one shower and no dumbells, with poor lighting. Not a good for middle-eastern men. Sadly. This is not the first negative Salted Cycle Reviews. Please ask the owner Becky Jasper why she did not allow a paying middle-eastern customer to rent the studio but allowed whites?
Also. two Instructors left in the last 30 days.
THE SHORT VERSION: Salted Cycle is a small basic studio. For some reason the instructors turn the lights off frequently and we are just spinning in the dark. Kind of ERRIE to say the least. However. Please don’t think we are being mean. Because when riders pay about 25 dollars a class and find out they get angry at us. They email us and admonish us for not mentioning the class environment.
North Vancouver is a small city in British Columbia Canada, and belongs to Metro Vancouver. Metro Vancouver surrounds the City of North Vancouver on three sides. As of 2016, North Vancouver stands as the second wealthiest city in Canada, with neighbouring West Vancouver the richest. Now you can enjoy the best of North Vancouver Spin Classes.
The studio is small and the studio lighting is terrible. In the last 30 days two instructors left, not good.
Moreover. Many were hoping Salted Cycle would end the way middle-eastern are treated in Vancouver because the notorious spin studio known as Ride Cycle Club, which was known for their racial prejudice recently faced justice by getting shut down. The Vancouver spin community demanded better spin studios that were professionally-managed, clean with will-trained instructors.
Sadly. Many believe that Vancouver is like Berkley, California, very radical and left-wing, which is why Berkley also has a terrible spin community. Were you aware that even the FAMOUS Soulcycle tried to open studios in Vancouver but went out of business in a few months. The riders and staff must keep their politics out of Indoor Cycling. Period.
As you can tell, if this was all men, the public would be in an uproar. However Becky Jasper has no problem with an all women photo to represent Salted Cycle. Just recently. A paying customer who happened to be Middle-eastern was treated adversely and refused rental of the studio, that is wrong and illegal in most countries. However Vancouver is notorious for treating middle-eastern adversely.
