Indoor Cycling Channel travels to Queensland, Australia to discover a high-end Studio that not only offers bad ass spin classes but total body fitness classes and more!! Therapy Indoor Cycling and Fitness studio is located in the community of Mermaid Waters, Queensland which is close to the major city of Brisbane, Queensland.
Co-founded by leading fitness instructor, Emma Masters, Therapy Fitness is one of the Gold Coast’s newest fitness concepts with three unique offerings. You can choose between a low-light, club-style cycle class, a hot pilates offering and a resistance-based treadmill and weights class. Or just choose all three.
Located in Mermaid Waters, Therapy Fitness offers over 70 classes each week, which broadly range from intense, nightclub-esque cycle classes to slow, candlelit pilates classes. There’s definitely no couch involved in this kind of therapy.
Our favourite thing about Therapy? The small, dedicated team who are committed and genuinely care about each of their clients. The Therapy Fitness team makes fitness different, by focusing on the client’s personal visions of greatness and chucking unrealistic body standards in the bin where they belong. It’s all about self-care, self-love and pushing yourself to new limits.
If that wasn’t enough already, Therapy Fitness sets itself leagues apart from the pack with a dedicated smoothie bar, cold towels for your post-class sweat and seriously luxe shower facilities. It’s group therapy with a major twist.
Get fit and have fun at Mermaid Waters workout boutique Therapy Fitness
Getting yourself into a fitness routine that’s regular, makes you feel good and is worth getting out of bed for isn’t the easiest of feats. Mermaid Waters fitness studio Therapy Fitness is making working out simple – and fun – with three signature classes that are sure to have you sweating with a smile.
Dubbed as ‘group therapy’ and not just your usual gym class, Therapy Fitness is making working out a breeze at its 360-sqm facility at Q Super Centre in Mermaid Waters. Renowned fitness instructor Emma Masters co-founded the tri-concept fitness boutique, which features three fully immersive studios under one roof. “Each studio is designed to bring its own unique feeling or ‘therapy’, ensuring that fitness is no longer something we punish ourselves with, but instead we can utilise its power to improve our mental health and feel good,” says Emma. The new concept offers more than 70 classes per week, all guaranteed to make the sweat drip and endorphins flow.
Therapy Fitness has three signature classes to choose from, all hosted by super-friendly instructors. You can climb, jog and sprint your way to the top while listening to some banger tunes inside a candle-lit room at Cycle, or build strength and resilience in a dark room with nightclub lighting at RunLift. In Connect, you can sweat with intent in a hot pilates class that’s held in an infrared-heated studio. Slow things down to lengthen and stretch the body in Connect YIN, while Connect YANG sees light-weight resistance and cardio bursts teamed with deep stretching and mindfulness. After your class of choosing, you can cool down with a cold towel (sweat towels are also provided during class), and there are shower facilities at the studio too. Perhaps the most exciting part about going to a Therapy Fitness class is the option to order a smoothie from the on-site smoothie bar to be ready when you’re finished sweating it out.
To make a booking for Therapy Fitness, head to the Therapy Fitness website. Psst … newbies can get five classes for $55!
